Privacy Policy

Confidentiality is often a concern in psychotherapy and can be discussed before or during any meeting.  You have the legal right to be informed in writing about policies, rights and procedures regarding the privacy of your personal information by any health care provider.  The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act(HIPAA) of 1996 requires that you read and sign my "Notice of Privacy Practices" before beginning treatment at my office.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this notice or my health information privacy policies, it is important that we discuss your thoughts before or during our meetings.

My psychotherapy practice is located online and in Pleasantville, Westchester County, New York, close to the Saw Mill and Taconic Parkways and one block from the Pleasantville train station. It is convenient to reach from Hawthorne, Chappaqua, Valhalla, Tarrytown, Ossining, Croton, Briarcliff Manor, Thornwood, Sleepy Hollow, Armonk and Irvington among other locations.
